Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk

Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prep
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Step 3: Cream Butter & Sugar
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Step 4: Add Eggs & Vanilla
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 5: Combine Wet & Dry
Add the flour mixture in two parts, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
Step 6: Fill & Bake
Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Step 7: Cool & Frost
Let cupcakes cool completely before adding your favorite frosting and toppings.
